Nelson appears with George Martin and Cindy Sheehan

At a rally last night night in Milwaukee, Nelson Eisman was present to cheer on fellow Green Party candidate Rae Vogeler and listen to anti-war activists George Martin and Cindy Sheehan.

Here is how Sheehan began her comments:

"People tell me, 'Cindy, we need a viable third party in this country.' I tell them, 'How about a second party?'''

As the hundreds of people present cheered, she went on to say, "The Republicans and the Democrats are two sides of one coin. They eat, drink and are merry at the same table, paid for by the same corporate sponsors." After speaking, Sheehan was happy to have her picture taken with Rae Vogeler while holding a sign that read "Vote Green Party for Peace."

Sheehan was also more than willing to pose for pictures with Nelson Eisman internationally-recognized peace activist George Martin.

As Cindy said at the conclusion of her remarks, "We need to vote our hopes, not our fears this Tuesday."

Nelson Eisman has long been on the record as supporting the idea of bringing the troops home from Iraq as soon as humanly possible. The billions of dollars being squandered over there are sorely needed here to provide health care, education, and renewable energy.
